System and Site Evaluations
Why should I spend money to get a High Quality System Evaluation?
The answer is that most problems with pre-owned imaging equipment are caused by incomplete or even wrong information about the system to be traded. As you know, it is always  difficult to get detailed specifications of MRI, CT and PET/CT systems that are sold either by the trade desks of the OEMs, by hospitals or by most brokers.
The solution to this problem would be to have somebody independent evaluating the system and generate a detailed report with pictures of the system components and even check the removal route for the system components. This would enable you to get a better picture of the systems you are buying, including the expected expenses for the rigging of the system components and therefore a lot better chances to market the system upfront.
The expenses for a detailed and neutral expert report are worth it and provide you the basis for an accurate sales decision. And here is what you get:
In addition to a detailed inventory of the system components including photos, lists of the main components, accessories, software media, phantoms, documentation, etc., the following information / data can be acquired from most systems by using standard passwords and do not require any specific service passwords or service dongles.

CT:  Installed software options, tube count (if possible), QA check with results
MRI: Installed software options, Coil QA on most systems (phantom scans otherwise),helium boil off rate (where possible)
PET/CT: Installed software options, tube count (if possible), QA check with results

For more details on this, request our System Inspection List that shows, for which systems we do inspections and what exactly we do for a particular system. We can send sample reports for those systems upon request.
